What is ALFI ?

African Leaders Factory Initiative (ALFI) is a center of leadership born in 2017 whose mission is to create committed and dedicated African leaders of tomorrow in developing their community through technical and vocational education and promoting youth entrepreneurship.
ALFI is a big family that groups more than 20 nationalities of exemplary young leaders who are working together to solve the problems related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the United Nations agenda for 2030.
ALFI is the real lasting change community where people with creativity, passion, leadership, grit, courage, full compassion work together to make Africa and the rest of the world better, fairer, stronger than ever.

How to become a member of ALFI ?

To become an African Leaders Factory Ambassador or Volunteer Initiative, you must complete these simple steps below:
. Join us on the international platform: www.alfi-learn.org
. Stay committed with all the members: LA GRANDE COALITION
. Join the Facebook group of the African Leaders Factory Initiative page www.facebook.com/ALFILEARN to get to know other people ambassadors and volunteers from different countries of Africa and the rest of world
. Participate in activities where each member of the community will be informed in advance by newsletter with clear information and accurate. Everyone is free to engage and is not judged by his or her origin, religion, gender or social status
. No particular age is regulated, any man or woman wanting to be part of this community of change Africa on the move and respecting or not his steps is an ambassador. We are the generation of entrepreneurship, civic engagement and promotion of gender equality.

Activities

Our activities have classically included the organization of conferences, the moderation of panels or the co-organisation of events related to the UNFPA. This year, our projects are the following :
  • ALFIMUN Annual Conference in July of every year
  • The ALFI Fellowship Program Training every end of the month at Dakar, Senegal for entrepreneurs and leaders
  • The creation of an online-journal, Global Youth Voices to ALFI Youth Speaks that will allow students to express their opinions on international affairs, and acquire information on different international community’s issues topics
  • The Online training where youth can learn free outstanding courses connected to key of the sustainable development in partnership with Milliunus Academy
  • Rising awareness across Africa about the problem of Education & training mostly from women.
  • FB Live Discussion on the FB Page of African Leaders Factory Initiative every month with leaders across the world
  • The organization of educative events on the United Nations (e.g. Visits of interesting sessions at the United Nations, conferences, panel discussions)
  • The organization conferences that will give a voice to young people on topics discussed at the ALFI Headquater during our term
  • The organization of a study trip with our partner IFIL (Initiative for Intercultural Learning).
